We hope that some companies who produce goods, such as Heritage Tableware, Hills Numberplates and Fracino coffee machines, will send in details and be featured on its website. Component manufacturers are also included in the site’s industrial category.

A West Midlands firm on the site was covered here some time ago and this is the Still Made in Britain website entry:

A tradition of excellence over the last 125 years established Dunnetts (Birmingham) Limited as one of the leading manufacturers of quality bakeware. ‘Brummagem ware’ in all its many aspects is world famous and no less in the popular baking dishes made by Dunnetts of Birmingham. This family firm was founded in 1885 by Mr Rivers Dunnett who traded as a manufacturing ironmonger in Bristol Street.

The company remained a family concern right up until very recently with a strong commitment to providing quality products at favourable prices. Operating a ‘total quality management system’ throughout all aspects of manufacture, by which customers can be sure of a consistent standard of both products and service.

Although Dunnetts fell into administration in January 2009, Utensa, a distribution company for whom Dunnetts had been a major supplier, took the decision to attempt to resurrect the manufacturing operation and so sufficient plant and machinery was purchased from the administrator to enable production to recommence in February 2009.
